Ignorance is Bliss....(?)
Since you Freely surfed into my lair, Listen and learn.
I work with a lot of technology and sometimes see the dangerous pitfalls of technology in the everyday things you use. So to prove it to family and friends, I run small tests and share the results with them and you.
So what I look for is a hack/exploit(s) in your phone(s), OS, Browsers, computers systems and apps; that you don't know about. If I find them, I test them to see if they are a real problem or not and help you fix them.
So unfortunately for Apple & Android apps, my AI's unique code was automatically getting embedded in the images on my phones camera- EXIF Information(whenever a photo was taken). So when their iOS software/script/app(s) would sneakily take my picture (with out me knowing it), the code would get embedded in it, and then disappeared off my camera(not even appearing in my photo gallery) into Magic Apple, Android and Google Land.
When I did a search for that code(within 148 hours), I found my photos/Code(s) were already pinged at a Marketing Company IP and a separate Advertising IP addresses in San Francisco. Legal note: Their software took a photo(s) of me-at a point I was “Expecting Privacy”, it contained a Proprietary Code imbedded in the EXIF and THEIR program(s)/OS uploaded it from my phone. I merely did a legal search for my Proprietary Code to discover where it had been and where it currently is. No hacking was involved. :)
So what does this mean? It means that Apple, Android, Google, etc. iOS Apps, are all guilty of sneaking around your phone and not telling you what they are doing, as they are do it. They don't tell you, because they know You'd Never Allow it.
So by doing something that You'd Never Allow, it's Unethical and an Invasion of your privacy and its also Illegal. Its called Expectation of Privacy, and they are violating it everyday without you knowing it.
And while I'm playing a game, texting, or in the restroom; I don't want some corporate executives or weirdo looking at my photo(s) or activating the camera or taking LIVE video... because that too is Illegal and is called Voyeurism .
Ignorance is Bliss....
P.S. I cover my face Camera with tape. :) and use Permission Dog App
Ignorance is Bliss....
I quickly found that a lot of apps (even the very popular ones) have access to not just your personal photos gallery, but even your E-mails and Text messages. Some even seem so innocent, but they CAN look into your “Past logs”-(before you even opened them) and possibly get very, Very personal Information like: banking info, passwords, pins, history, etc.. Yeah, these are bad intention(s). No Doubt and most had over 100,000 downloads and up to 5million. Check them and uninstall if this is you.
Just take a few minutes look through your phone and your child and friends. You'll be very surprised how quickly your privacy is blatantly just taken away from you.
P.S. I have seen some of these App's recently change their rules and controls/access; so the word is getting out! But there are still thousands of scams out there.
In 2011, Apple alone removed 80,000 "Bad" apps from their iPhone store.
So Protect yourself(because no one will do it for you)!
Any questions, or need my help, just E-mail me Yeah, my advice is free. :)
...And protect yourself with Permission Dog or ASpotCat Apps.
They are Totally FREE and SAFE.
So You can then find the "BAD apps" on your phone. :)
I like Permission Dog slightly better then ASpotCat because of its rate /ranking
Hack Test #K22, Violating your "Privacy"
So on the developers/hack side, I found what I was looking for. Its a small script in both OS's/Apps that allows the camera to take a picture of you, without you knowing it and without making a shutter sound(its completely silent). I found most of them occurring when your imputing-like texting. So I decided to use that function, for my test/trace.
